The Brashear/Novinger co-op baseball team took on Grundy County/Newtown-Harris Tuesday night at the Novinger field. Brashear got on the scoreboard in the 1st, then the lead changed hands twice in the third as both teans scored twice. After Grundy tied the game at 3-3 in the 4th, Brashear scored 3 in the 5th and went on to a 6-3 win. Cade Erwin and Cole Erwin both had two hits for Brashear with with Drew Magruder Koenn Stewert, Bailyn Halley, Quincy Chapman, and Cory Holcomb also having hits. Quincy Chapman got the start with Cole Erwin and Bailyn Halley pitching in relief.
